In the production workshop of Xinke Lifting, there is always a determined figure in the corner where sparks fly. She is Yang Yulu, a female worker in the beam-lifting team and a welder with over a decade of experience. Since joining Xinke Lifting in 2008, she has been married and given birth to children over the past decade, yet she has always remained committed to her welding position, interpreting the craftsmanship spirit of the manufacturing industry through sweat and perseverance.

The Origin of Her Initial IntentWhen talking about her initial intent in joining the industry, the down-to-earth Yang Yulu spoke frankly: "At that time, I just thought welders had high salaries." In 2006, fresh out of college, she first came into contact with automated welding. Two years later, she went to Xinke Lifting System to learn electric welding, and since then, she has been inextricably linked with this craft. In the welding industry, where there are few female practitioners, she never felt that women were inferior to men. Instead, she turned her unique meticulousness into a professional advantage and gained a firm foothold with her solid skills.

Overcoming Challenges When Yang Yulu first started learning welding, she was repeatedly frustrated by difficulties such as voltage and current adjustments, and weld seam formation. Even though she was often criticized by her teacher, she never thought of giving up. She firmly believed that as long as she practiced enough, there would be no difficult problems. Through repeated practical operations, Yang Yulu gradually discovered her own work secrets. She integrated the unique meticulousness of women into her work, maintaining focus throughout the repetitive and monotonous welding processes. Through repeated inspections and meticulous repairs, she ensured the quality of every step. "Quality must meet the standards" is a phrase she often repeats, and it is also her unwavering bottom line. Nowadays, she has long cultivated an excellent skill set that "nothing can be difficult for her".

Craftsmanship InheritanceWhenever a colleague encounters a welding challenge, Yang Yulu always takes the initiative to offer advice. "If someone can't weld properly, I'll tell them how to adjust the voltage and current, and what details they should pay attention to," she shares her years of practical experience with her colleagues without reservation. When it comes to mentoring apprentices, Yang Yulu frankly says that she will share her own hardships from the past with young people, letting them understand that "there are no shortcuts in welding; only through exploration and solid practice can one succeed." In her view, the spirit of craftsmanship is not about grandiose rhetoric; at its core, it is about "ensuring quality," a down-to-earth attitude of "checking more and being more careful," and a persistent perseverance of "working through difficulties and holding on." This simple understanding is the most authentic embodiment of the spirit of craftsmanship in the manufacturing industry.
Since 2008, over a decade of honing her skills in welding has transformed Yang Yulu from an inexperienced apprentice into a seasoned welder. Today, she has embraced welding as her lifelong career, dedicating herself day after day with a commitment to excellence, crafting extraordinary stories of craftsmanship from her ordinary position.
