Operating Characteristics of General Overhead Cranes
Overhead cranes are widely used in terminals, open storage yards, indoor and outdoor warehouses and factory workshops. They are mainly divided into three types: general overhead cranes, metallurgical overhead cranes and simple beam overhead cranes.General overhead cranes can vertically lift and horizontally move heavy loads suspended on hooks or other lifting devices in three-dimensional space. The crane is mainly composed of a hoisting mechanism and trolley traveling mechanism.
