MDG-type gantry cranes are widely used for loading and unloading operations in outdoor stockyards, bulk cargo yards and freight yards. Featuring a portal-framed overall metal structure, the equipment delivers higher operational stability during 4service. To ensure better operating performance, the gantry crane requires regular lubrication, with the following points to be noted during lubrication:
Frequently check the sealing condition of the lubrication system.
Adopt the pressure oiling method to fill grease and fully deliver the grease to friction surfaces. Avoid smearing grease as much as possible, which may prevent the grease from reaching the friction surfaces.
Sodium-based grease is not suitable for humid environments, as it has strong water absorption and is prone to failure.
All lubricants must be kept clean, and lubricating oils and greases of different brands shall not be mixed.
Increase the lubrication frequency for high-temperature lubrication points correspondingly, and install heat insulation or cooling devices if necessary.
For oil bath lubrication, inspect the quality of lubricating oil regularly. The oil level shall reach the scale specified on the oil dipstick. The entire crane must be powered off during lubrication.
Select suitable lubricating materials and perform regular lubrication in accordance with operating regulations.
